The last few weeks I have been hard at work relearning JavaScript and improving my skills. Just recently I have been working on some retro theme games to build my portfolio. I have a passion for fantasy games like Guild Wars 2, Elder Scrolls, and Dungeons and Dragons.
Two of these are online games on Steam but Dungeons and Dragons is a role playing game that can be played online via Discord or Zoom, or simply at a table surrounded by friends and family. Its a tabletop role playing game that is flexible for any style of playing.
So why not build a digital card game that can be utilized on any platform? Make a character and create a card deck of their skills and spells. Digitally.
This project is going to be detailed and will need to be planned out before the coding can begin. That’s why I will give you the GitHub link when the draft begins.
What will this become in the future? I don’t know, honestly, but hopefully the project itself will lead to more opportunities in the future.
